Haughton residents under boil advisory

By: Nikki Henderson
Updated: February 1, 2013

Those of you who live in certain parts of Haughton are being asked to boil your water.

Friday the Village Water System issued the notice after an emergency repair on the main line.

The boil advisory includes residents on Randy Lane, Cindy Lane and Woodland Circle.

The notice was issued as a precaution after the water was turned off to fix a leak.

You should disinfect your water by boiling it for one minute before you drink it, make ice or brush your teeth.

The Village Water System will keep the advisory in effect until further notice.
