10 years later, Americans reflect on Columbia Disaster

Today NASA is observing its annual "Day of Remembrance" for the seven fallen astronauts that were on the space shuttle Columbia.
Ceremonies were held Friday at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia and at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
Columbia was destroyed Feb. 1, 2003 during its return to Earth. It broke into thousands pieces over Central Texas because of a hole in its wing that allowed in super-hot atmospheric gases.
The crew members on board were Commander Rick Husband, Kalpana Chawla, Pilot William McCool, David Brown, Laurel Clark, Michael Anderson and Israeli astronaut Ilan Ramon.
