A Caddo Parish jury has convicted two Shreveport men of second degree murder for the April 2009 shooting death of a teenager who died when shots were fired into a crowd.

Joshua D. Brooks , 20,  and Paul Anthony Jones, 20, were found guilty for the death of Terrell Savore in the 1900 block of Patzman. Jurors deliberated just over an hour before returning the verdict to conclude the two-day trial.

Judge Joseph Bleich set March 26 for sentencing. Second degree murder carries a life sentence in prison. Assistant District Attorneys Dale Cox and Sarah Midboe successfully prosecuted the case.
