A new non-profit opens its doors in Shreveport

A new organization is available to help residents who are in need.

The "Arms of Love Community Resource Center Incorporated" will serve the Mooretown and Forest Oaks communities.

Thursday night the organization is having a kick-off celebration for everyone to learn more about its services.

The event will take place between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Airport Park Community Center on 6500 Kennedy Drive.

Anyone is welcome to stop by.
