Local fast food restaurant robbed at gunpoint

A search is underway for the person who held up a Shreveport eatery.

The suspect, armed with a gun, robbed a Popeye's Chicken restaurant in the 500 block of E. 70th Street earlier this month.

Police say the person demanded money from an employee and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black male, around 21 years old, wearing an orange bandana and orange pullover.

A $500 reward is being offered in this case. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at (318) 673-7373.
