High speed chase lands suspect behind bars

Local law enforcement agencies join forces to capture a burglary suspect.
Ira Reynolds, 29, was taken into custody Friday afternoon after he led police on a high speed chase through Webster Parish.
Reynolds fled from Plain Dealing Police at a high rate of speed before ditching his car near the Red River on Hwy 2. He then fled on foot into the woods but was later caught by Bossier Sheriff's deputies.
Reynolds is accused of stealing numerous weapons and other items from a home in Springhill.
Reynolds was charged with seven counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, seven counts of illegal possession of stolen firearms, aggravated flight from an officer, driving under suspension, reckless operation of a vehicle, and two counts of failure to appear. He was booked into the Bossier Maximum Security Facility.
