Bossier City man arrested for child pornography

A Bossier City man is behind bars on a child pornography possession charge.

After receiving a tip, detectives with the Juvenile Unit arrested William Nicholson Friday at a home in the 2100 block of Starling Drive.

The tip which was called in to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children was first forwarded to the Louisiana Attorney General's Office which in turned contacted the Bossier City Police Department.

Investigators also seized computers and DVD's from Nicholson's home.

Nicholson, 65, was booked into the Bossier City Jail and later transferred to the Bossier Parish Maximum Security Facility.
