Youth Attend Purity Career Fair

Some local youth got a head start on their future.
Saturday morning, the Harvest Temple Church of God in Christ held their annual Purity Career Day.
Every year, the event tries to help the public see the choices they have in the job market.
KTAL 6's Marquel Sennet and Dr. Tymwa Dixon were speakers.
Co-chair of the Purity Career Day, Michael Jackson, says he hopes everyone left knowing they have a choice in life.
"Don't be in a box, don't let someone put you in the box and say, 'Hey, you're going to be a lawyer' or 'You're going to be a doctor'. You can do anything the world and truely the sky is the limit."
Jackson hopes the event will encourage others to get involved in the community.
This year, 10-18 year olds also had the chance to learn job searching tips.
