Visiting Filmmaker Killed in Accident

An assistant to the producer of the film "Harold and Kumar II" has died in a car crash in Caddo Parish. The accident happened on State Highway 1 near Frierson just after 9 PM Tuesday night. Caddo Sheriffs officials say 31-year-old Carol Trevino pulled into the path of a tractor-trailer rig. She was freed from the wreckage by the "Jaws of Life." She later died at LSU Hospital. She was from Ohio.
