Trailer for 80 million dollar local film released.

The official trailer for the $80 million dollar Millennium Studios movie production 'Olympus Has Fallen' has been released. The movie starring Gerard Butler was filmed in several downtown Shreveport and Bossier City locations and also at the soundstage inside Millennium's Shreveport studio.
Pam Glorioso with the Bossier City Film Commission says the movie was important in returning northwest Louisiana to the spotlight following a loss of momentum prior to 2012. "When Millennium decided to shoot this feature here it brought back that momentum," says Glorioso, noting that the nearby New Orleans film industry has fully recovered.
Glorioso says 'Olympus Has Fallen' will be an important piece in luring future production to our backyard. "Our challenge is to keep new productions coming here and make sure they're aware of the Shreveport/Bossier area and what the market has to offer to them by coming to our part of the state."
