The YMCA's ballet booty class is harder than it looks. The 50-minute group exercise workout incorporates ballet, pilates, strength training and stretching to tone muscles you probably didn't even know you have. Instructors at the YMCA's Broadmoor branch in Shreveport say the class mostly attracts women, but its a great workout for anyone. You just need to be willing to step outside the box and up to the barre. No leotard, tights or tutu required. For more information contact the YMCA at 318-674-9635.
