Almost a year to the day a Haughton man was arrested for secretly recording video of young ladies from his church; a lawsuit is filed against him and his wife.
Paul Holmes pled guilty to charges of video voyeurism and child pornography in September, and is currently waiting for his sentencing hearing.
The case began after the former deacon hosted a weekend sleep-over event for the youth of First Baptist Church of Haughton last January. Authorities became aware of the case when after one of the girls told her parents about a camera she saw in one of the Holmes' bathrooms.
Three of the victims' parents are now suing both Paul and his wife Tammie Lynn for monetary damages.
According to the petition filed with the 26th District Judicial Court, the families allege Holmes' wife should have known about her husband's "deviant sexual tendencies" and could've prevented the incidents from happening.
