East Texas baseball player dies at college practice

The public information officer at Louisiana State University in Alexandria has confirmed that Brandon Goyne, former Elysian Fields High School baseball player has died.

Goyne collapsed and died at baseball practice at LSUA today. Friends and family have set up prayer circles at Elysian Fields. NBC 6 News has a crew en route to Elysian Fields and will bring details of this developing story at 10 p.m.
