Geter leaves Loyola for Evangel

After four seasons at Loyola, Steven Geter takes a flyer and leaves for his alma mater.

Geter will not return as the head football coach at Loyola in 2013. Instead, he's accepted an administrative role at Evangel Christian Academy.

The head coach joined Loyola in 2008, posting a 29-26 overall record. His tenure included a berth into the state quarterfinals 2008.

Geter's most successul season was in 2010, when the Flyer's went 9-1.

As a golf coach, he guided Loyola to back-to-back state title in 2011 & 2012.
