Shreveport Red Cross offers last 20 flu shots Friday

By: Morgan Thomas
Updated: January 17, 2013

If you've had trouble getting your flu shots due to area retailer shortages, the Red Cross is stepping in and offering their last 20 vaccines Friday. They had to postpone the clinic because of the winter weather Tuesday.

From 11 A.M. until 5 P.M. or until they sell out flu shots will be available for $25.00 at the Shreveport Red Cross office at 805 Brook Hollow Drive.  Red Cross officials ask folks to call the office at 318-865-9545 before they leave to make sure they still have shots available.  They will also offer pneumonia shots for $30.00.

They're trying to find out who else still has vaccines, and will direct people there once they run out.
