Caddo Schools votes to part ways with superintendent

The Caddo Parish School System is in the market for a new superintendent.  At Tuesday night's regular meeting, the board voted not to renew the contract of Dr. Gerald Dawkins.

His last day will be August 11th.

Dawkins - who came to Caddo from a Michigan school district - has been with the Caddo system for five years.
