Armed robber holds up local fast food restaurant

Authorities are on the lookout for a man who allegedly robbed a Popeye's restaurant in Shreveport.
The robbery took place shortly after 9:30 p.m. Friday in the 500 block of East 70th Street.
Employees told police that the suspect entered the restaurant with a semi-automatic handgun and demanded money from the safe. The man later fled the business with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a black male standing between six feet and six feet two inches tall, weighing between 200 and 210 pounds and wearing an orange hooded jacket and gloves.
