Hearts are heavy at Wiley College after a professor dies in a motorcycle crash.
Dr. Valentyn Siniak, an assistant professor of biology, was killed Friday night in Marshall.
Authorities say Siniak, 37, was driving his motorcycle on US Hwy 80 when he collided with pickup truck at the Loop 390 intersection. Siniak was transported to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Monday the school chaplain and other support staff were on hand to offer grief counseling to the students and faculty.
