A movie filmed locally in Shreveport is now the top earner at the weekend movie box office.

The horror sequel "Texas Chainsaw 3D" debuted with a take of $23 million over the weekend. The horror sequel was shot here in Shreveport last summer and is the eighth in the series of horror films that began in 1974.
