Investigators are trying to figure out what caused a Bossier City home to go up in flames Sunday Morning.

Around 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, a fire started at a home in the 5400 block of Hackney Circle.

Firefighters say there was heavy smoke coming from the home when they got on scene. Crews were able to get the fire under control within five minutes.

They believe the fire started near the home's laundry room, then spread to the attic.

The home has heavy damage. No one was at home at the time.
