La Tech men win WAC opener

RUSTON - Louisiana Tech opens WAC conference play with a 81-72 win over New Mexico State.

Tech shot 50-percent (11-22) from behind the three point line. Alex Hamilton led the Bulldogs in scoring with 20 points.

Michale Kyser speared La Tech's defensive effort with five blocks. He also led the Bulldogs with six rebounds.
