Shreveport police investigate New Year's Day stabbing

A man is recovering from injuries he received after being stabbed at a nightclub in downtown Shreveport.

The stabbing happened around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday at Central Station in the 1000 block of Marshall.

Authorities say a man was stabbed in the back of the neck during a fight. The victim was taken to Willis Knighton South with non-life threatening injuries.

So far no arrests have been made.
