If you're planning to celebrate the New Year by getting out of the house, there's a great selection of events going on throughout the ArkLaTex.

Adults can celebrate at Harrah's Louisiana Downs' annual New Year's Eve bash. The free party starts at8 P.M. Monday night. Eighty's cover band, the Spazmatics, will take turns with D.J. Love entertaining the crowds.
For the family: a night of discounted bowling at Holiday Lanes. Enjoy party favors and food after the ball drops at midnight.
ShreveportIf you're into more of a night club scene, then head over to the El Dorado Casino downtown. With a twenty-dollar cover you'll get a wristband, and access to both celebrity and allure night clubs all night long.
TexarkanaThe Electric Cowboy is hosting a shindig that starts at 7:30 P.M. and goes on until 3 A.M. Cash giveaways and a balloon drop will make it a night to remember.
