SHREVEPORT, La - Ohio decimated ULM's hope of winning their first bowl appearance in school history.

The Warhawks fell to the Bobcats 45-14 at the Independence Bowl.

Bobcats' running back Beau Blankenship powered a potent Ohio rushing assault. The Oklahoma native rushed 19 times for 105 yards and four touchdowns. The Bobcats rushed for 219 yards as a team.

Ohio flustered ULM quarterback Kolton Browning.  The Sun Belt Conference offensive MVP  completed 21-of-39 passes for 219 yards and two touchdowns, but was sacked five times and threw three interceptions.

Browning's counterpart, Tyler Tettleton, was spectacular. The Ohio quarterback was 14-of-22 for 331 yards and two touchdowns.

ULM wide receiver Brent Leonard was the small-peice of good news for the Warhawks. The senior wide receiver became the school's all-time receptions leader with 204 grabs.

Leonard caught 7 balls for 76 yards in the loss to Ohio.
