Fans come out for friendly rivalry

Despite the cold, rainy weather, people came to town from all over with hopes their team would take home the victory.
Along with the sights and smell of food, came the fans.
"We've just been getting ready," said Randy Turner from Monroe, Louisiana. "We've had a lot of people on the interstate coming from Monroe."
Turner was extremely honored to part of the event.
"I can tell you that the ULM fans are going to be here in force. We're coming regardless of the weather."
Meanwhile Chris Herman traveled from Northern Ohio to cheer on #77, his son.
"He's played in every bowl game for the last three years, and we drove through the big storm Mr. Euclid all the way here," Herman stated.
And as the tailgaters set up, so did the excitement of the game.
"It's been really friendly," Hope Barton from Mansfield, Texas said. "Everyone's been really nice to one another, a friendly rivalry."
And if there's one thing both sides can agree on, everyone had a great time.
"Tailgating is where it's at!" said Adam Ney from New Orleans. "I mean basically you meet your buddies and you're hanging out with them."
