Suspect arrested for allegedly burglarizing a home on Christmas

A Shreveport man is behind bars in connection with a Christmas Day burglary.

Antonio Scott, 29, was taken into custody Tuesday morning after he was allegedly caught stealing from a house in the 9500 block of Linwood.

Authorities approached the home after noticing a broken rear window.  They later confronted Scott and arrested him without incident.

Scott is accused of taking several items from the residence including boxes of ceramic tile, an oven, paint and dishes that were valued at $1200.

Scott was booked into the Caddo Jail on charges of Burglary and Criminal Property Damage.
