Holtz Era Kicks-Off at NC State

RUSTON, LA -- The Sonny Dykes era is over. The WAC conference era is finished. The Skip Holtz era begins at Louisiana Tech.

The Bulldogs Conference USA schedule has not been finalized, but the non-conference portion of Louisiana Tech's 2013 slate is set.

Coach Holtz first game as head coach of the Bulldogs will take place in Raleigh, NC, when Louisiana Tech opens the season against the N.C. State Wolfpack on August. 31st.

Tech's 2013 schedule features four non-conference opponents.

In addition to NC State, the Bulldogs will face Lamar University in their home-opener on Sept. 7th in Ruston.

On Sept. 21st, Tech squares off with the University of Kansas, in a Conference USA vs Big 12 showdown.

The final non-conference game of the season will feature a patriotic flare, when the Bulldogs meet Army at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas on Sept. 28th.

Tech will play eight conference match-ups as the Bulldogs begin its first season of play in Conference USA. Conference games and divisions have not yet been finalized and announced.
