According to Cpl Marcus Hines with Shreveport Police a man has died at a local hospital from gunshot wounds. Hines says the man was dropped off early this morning. Police are also investigating a reported robbery that Hines says may be related to this shooting. According to Hines, a man called police just after midnight claiming he was robbed by two men at an ATM in the 1600 block of N. Market Street. The victim told police he got out a gun and shot at the suspects but didn't know whether or not he'd hit anyone.

Again, Hines stresses that his department doesn't yet know whether or not these incidents are related. Keep it here for updates throughout the day.
