Grambling State University is buzzing with excitement.

The GSU band has accepted an invitation to march in the 57th Inaugural Parade in Washington D.C.

The university, along with other organizations across the country had to submit an online application to be considered for the parade.

Once the Presidential Inaugural Committee reviewed the eligible applicants, a final list of organizations, which included GSU's marching band, were selected to receive invitations.
