Local church remembers CT shooting victims with a prayer vigil

Praise Temple Church is paying respects to those who died in the Newtown, Connecticut school massacre.

The church is inviting children across Shreveport-Bossier to attend a prayer vigil honoring the victims.

The event will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday inside the Praise Temple Church on 4725 Greenwood Road.

Praise Temple's iGeneration also will be writing letters, drawing pictures, and preparing gifts to send to the families of those who died in the shooting.
