Sunday writer Will Clarke paid a visit to dozens of fans at a local book store. He was signing copies of his latest book "The Worthy: A Ghosts Story." The novel is a tongue in cheek tale of an LSU frat boy who dies, and the struggles he encounters as a ghost. "As a ghost he can`t really affect anything. He can`t do anything. But he finds out when people get drunk... particularly this pledge Tucker Graham. He can possess him. so he starts causing lots of trouble." said Clarke. "The Worthy" is expected to make it`s way into theaters sometime in 2008.

Locals recount past tornadoes

The recent tornado coverage is bringing up memories of past twisters in our area.  Bossier Parish was hit by multiple tornadoes in 2009.

Just last Thursday, Waskom and Greenwood were hit by an EF-1 tornado.

A Bossier Parish man recalls the tornado which touched down near Swan Lake Road in 1978.  A man who survived a tornado in Benton in 1999 also shared his story.
