FTS International employees are bringing holiday joy to a group of children in Shreveport.

For the third year the local company along with their corporate office in Texas will provide a luncheon and Christmas gifts to those who are part of the Reach for the Stars Mentoring Children of Prisoners Program.

Even with downsizing from 400 employees to 126, FTS International raised over $6,000 to ensure nearly 40 children will have a Merry Christmas.

Reach for the Stars is a community based program designed for mentors to provide young people with safe and trusting relationships.  It also offers opportunities for increased participation in education, civic service, and community activities.

The luncheon will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21 at Frac Tech on 7248 Dinkins Drive.
