Shreveport man dies in I-20 accident

According to Louisiana State Police, the Caddo Parish Coroner's Office has confirmed that Andrew Perkins has passed away. 


Investigators are trying to figure out what caused a deadly car crash on Interstate 20.

Michael Hubbard of Shreveport was killed shortly before 11:30 p.m. Thursday when his 2010 Ford Fusion crossed the I-20 median and hit an 18-wheeler in Lincoln Parish.

Two passengers in Hubbard's car, Andrew Perkins of Shreveport and Jarde Miller of Bossier City were transported to a Shreveport hospital with critical injuries. A third passenger suffered minor injuries.

The driver of the 18-wheeler was not hurt in the accident.
