Attempted armed robbery suspect on the loose

Police are searching for a man who allegedly tried to rob a shoe store in North Shreveport.
Thursday an arrest warrant was obtained for Zamario Washington, 21, who attempted to take merchandise from the Shoe Show in the 1400 block of North Market Street.
Employees claim that on Nov. 24 Washington came into the store and selected shoes. He later told the staff he wasn't going to pay for the items and then displayed a gun.
Washington was unable to make off with any merchandise or cash before he fled the store on foot.
