Shreveport man wounded in late night shooting

Authorities are searching for a suspect who allegedly shot a man in west Shreveport.

The shooting happened shortly after 11 p.m. Sunday in the 2700 block of Lakeshore Drive.

Chris Taylor, 36, told police he was walking through an alleyway behind a convenience store when a man wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt opened fire striking him once in the stomach.

The suspect is described as a black male, standing five feet six inches tall and weighing around 150 pounds.
