A suspect is behind bars in connection with a string of armed robberies at a Subway restaurant in west Shreveport.
Police arrested Corey Cooper 30, Sunday after they received a call from residents that a man was lurking through their neighborhood looking into cars with a flashlight.
Cooper is accused of robbing the Subway in the 3700 block of Greenwood Road.
Authorities believe Cooper entered the business on Nov. 3 and Nov.10 armed with a handgun and demanded money. Each time Cooper fled the restaurant with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Cooper was booked into the Shreveport City Jail for illegal carrying of weapons, possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number and as a fugitive. He has also been charged with two counts of armed robbery.
