Doyline residents are packing up for the weekend so that one million pounds of explosives can be removed from Camp Minden.
Webster Parish officials say two area shelters are offering accommodations to families.
Caney Lake Conference Center has cabins available on a first-come first-serve basis. Meals also will be provided.
Residents also can find shelter at Lake Bistineau State Park. The facility has 20 eight person cabins with a communal bath and kitchen.
No pets are allowed and families need to provide proof of residence in Town of Doyline. You are required to bring your own bedding and food.
