Though the U.S. Supreme Court today was expected to announce whether it would take up at least one of the cases before it that deal with same-sex marriage, it did not.
NBC's Pete Williams is reporting that a document handed down just minutes ago by U.S. Supreme Court regarding cases they will consider this term did not include any on gay marriage.
Monday, the high court will hand down more cases it has decided to hear, and one of the same-sex marriage could be among those, Williams, who is at the Supreme Court today, reported.
