A man has been arrested in connection with a shooting in a West Shreveport neighborhood.

Early Thursday morning James Norman, 20, was taken into custody police.

Norman is accused of shooting Jeffrey Sims, 30, in October at a home in the 4200 block of Greenwood Lane.

Authorities believe Norman shot Sims multiple times after the men got into an argument.  Sims was taken to LSU hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Norman has been booked into the Shreveport City Jail on one count of aggravated second degree battery.
