Shreveport Police have arrested a school bus driver for allegedly hurting a student.

Officers responded to the incident on Nov. 15 involving Caddo Parish school bus driver Gay Miller.  A woman told police that Miller had an altercation with her nine-year-old son.

Police saw no visible injuries to the child but after detectives looked further into the situation they found probable cause for arrest.

Miller has been charged with one count of simple battery.
