Updated: November 28, 2012

Those of you who live in certain parts of Haughton are being asked to boil your water.

Wednesday the Village Water System issued the notice after an emergency repair on the main line.

The boil advisory includes residents on Hwy 80, Eighty Acres Dr., Goodwill Rd. Freight Entrance Rd., St. James Church Rd. and Barbecue Rd.

You should disinfect your water by boiling it for one minute before you drink it, make ice or brush your teeth.

The Village Water System will keep the advisory in effect until further notice.
