Dez Duron is out on The Voice

Duron's latest song was a cover of Justin Beiber's "U Smile," performed on Monday night. Cee Lo Green, perhaps somewhat prophetic, said it was not Dez's best effort.
Still, the former Evangel quarterback has amassed a massive following of fans throughout his run on the show. He gave up a scholarship to play football at Yale University and could still parlay his appearance on the show into a music career.
After being eliminated Tuesday night, Dez tweeted to his fans... "Thank you for taking this journey with me. I learned so much on#TheVoice. This is just the beginning. #TeamDez #bestisyettocome"
