The crime spree is over for a group of armed robbery suspects in Shreveport.
Police have linked Myles Smith, Myles Robinson, Tremario Washington, Halston Smith and James Tyson to 12 armed robberies in Shreveport.
Two of which include the November 9th robbery of the Breakand Run Bar on Mansfield Road, and the November 11 robbery of Superior Bar and Grill on Line Avenue.
After a month-long investigation, Police discovered
the group was also responsible for armed robberies in Bossier City and east Texas.
Shreveport Police say on November 14, they caught three of them running from the Outback Steakhouse right after they robbed it.
"Basically
it
was really a combined effort from out robbery detectives, as well as
agents and officers working the robbery intervention detail," says Sgt. Bill Goodin, Assistant Chief Information Officer for Shreveport Police.
"Intelligence they gathered as well as information though the course of
those investigations ultimately led them to those individuals
who they developed probable cause for and ultimately obtained arrest
warrants for the arrest of those armed robbery suspects."
The entire group is charged with multiple counts of armed
robbery with a firearm.
