According to police, the man was driving east on Bert Kouns when he suffered the medical emergency, causing his truck to veer into an OBGYN sign and then into the van, parked at University Self Storage.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and it is believed he was dead prior to his truck's impact. Police believe the man to have been in his 60s; his name is being withheld pending notification of his family.

NBC 6 News has a crew on the scene and will bring details as they become available.
