Shreveport Police arrest suspect in armed gas station robberies

Shreveport Police have made an arrest in the armed robbery of a Kangaroo Express gas station on Friday.
Officials with the department tell NBC 6 that the gas station, located in the 6900 block of West Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, was robbed by a male who pointed a hand gun at the store's clerk and demanded the cash in the register.
According to police, evidence from the scene led authorities to arrest Donald Hobley, 23, of Shreveport.
Hobley was taken into custody by Shreveport Police within an hour of the robbery.
Hobley is a suspect in a second armed robbery that occurred on November 12th, according to police.
Charges are pending against Hobley in both crimes as authorities continue their investigation.
