What's this year's Christmas tree crop like?

We've barely made it to Thanksgiving, but it's never too early to star preparing for Christmas. At Old Beck Christmas Tree Farm in Minden, LA, trees are looking pretty good.
Wayne Perryman and his wife Brenda have grown Christmas trees for almost eight years.
They've brought in trees all the way from Tennessee to sell with their own.
"The trees that we grow out here are Leeland Cypress trees, Virginia Pines, Carolina Sapphires," says Perryman. "That gives people a choice of the trees they might want."
They also have a gift shop that will be filled with all different kinds of Christmas novelties.
Some people may be surprised at just how long it takes to get the trees to a good height and color.
"It'll take anywhere from... For me to grow a tree, putting out a liner, which is like a ceiling, it'll take you about four years," says Perryman.
As customers come to pick their pine, Perryman says care is key.
"Long as you keep water on them, they'll stay green," says Perryman. "Once you let them dry off it seals the end."
Perryman also says the real is always better than the fake.
The farm opens on Thanksgiving Day, and trees range from $40 to $70.
