Juvenile Officers Must Find Other Work

Several Bowie County Juvenile Detention Center Officers no longer have a job. 47 officers have been laid off because of the steady decline of inmates at the center. It houses 20 inmates at this time. Officials are now working to find other options for the laid off employees. Currently there are around 30 people still working in the system.
