When firefighters arrived, the house was fully engulfed. Neighbors said the flames were about 20 ft. high.
"The house was just blazing up," said Mario Carson, who lives around the corner from the home.
"It gone over the roof,
it was going up to the top of the trees here, so it was a pretty intense fire
at that particular time," said John Spitale, who lives two doors down the
street.
Firefighters said they
were able to get the fire under control in 30 minutes. They had to return
Monday morning when the fire started to rekindle.
A family of four lived
in the home. At the time of the fire, the woman and her two children were
inside. They escaped without injury.
This is the fourth
house fire that has happened within a mile radius of this home since the
summer.
