An ArkLaTex woman remains in the hospital after being ejected from a ride at the Louisiana State Fair.

The incident happened Nov. 10, shortly after 9 p.m. 20-year-old Klarissa Graves was thrown about 20 ft. from the Fun Factory ride.

Hospital officials say she is now in fair condition.

Shreveport Fire Department Chief Safety Officer Scott Wolverton said Graves injuries are not life-threatening. She was transported to LSU-Hospital in Shreveport.

Preliminary investigation indicates Graves was strapped in and secured when the ride started.

The State Fire Marshal's Office, along with Shreveport Police, and the State Patrol are investigating the accident. State Fire Marshal H. Butch Browning said the cause of the accident is unknown at this time.
