Updated: November 6, 2012

A Mooringsport man was arrested this past week after he was found in possession of child pornography.

Investigators with the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office, Louisiana State Police, Louisiana Attorney General's Office, and the NWLA Internet Crimes against Children Task Force executed a search warrant at 9704 Hereford Road on Thursday.

During the search, numerous images of child pornography were found on a computer belonging to the resident, Steven Lynn Deem, 51.

Deem was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on 45 counts of pornography involving juveniles. He was also a registered sex offender in Caddo Parish and was booked on an additional charge of failure to register for not notifying the Caddo Sheriff's Office of multiple e-mail accounts he had created. His bond was set at $2,113,025.

Other agencies participating in the investigation were the DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office and Bossier City Marshal's Office.
